What I am Reading: July 2019

Hello, everyone!

It is almost the middle of July (Yikes!!) but I do want to share that I’ve been reading a brand new book over the past week or so. The book I have selected for the month of July is:

The Everything Store

By: Brad Stone

Jeff Bezos is my favorite CEO. I know a lot of people don’t agree with me and don’t like him. However, that’s not my case. I have to be honest in that I truly admire how Mr. Bezos managed to grow a “simple” online bookstore into the “do it all” giant that it has turned into.

I remember hearing about Amazon for the first time when I was in undergrad. However, I was one of those people that was terrified of buying anything online (think 2003 or so). It wasn’t until AFTER my college graduation that I bought my first product on Amazon and the rest is history!

In short, we’ve come a LONG way.

The book so far is really good and a “light” read despite the fact is about 345 pages! The author does a great job as a storyteller.

I am currently on Chapter 3 and plan to finish the book by the end of this month.

And that’s all folks! Have you read this one OR are you reading something new this month? Let me know in the comments!

Cheers to Health & Wealth!
