What I am Reading: March 2020

Hey, everyone! I almost forgot to share the book of the month. Here’s what I’ve been reading:

How To Stop Worrying and Start Living

By: Dale Carnegie

I am actually almost done. It’s been a great book.

Here’s the irony/back story behind this: I came across the title of this book for the first time several years ago when I was worried about certain things in life (as the human that I am).

I then kind of forgot about it and would only remember it again at random times in my life.

Well, back in early January (of this year), as I was browsing Amazon, the book came up on my radar once again. It was actually on sale (for some strange reason), and so, I bought a copy.

The copy sat in my apartment until this month when I found it again and decided what perfect time to read it!

Life seems to work in funny ways sometimes.

Coincidence? I think not.

Tell me – have you read this book or any other books by this author? I have! I can’t remember the other titles right now :).

If you’ve been reading anything lately, let me know in the comments.

Cheers to HEALTH and Profits,
Mabel

  1. He’s the author behind How to Win Friends and Influence people! He has a lot of “how to” books. They’re a little dated sometimes, but generally have good content. This isn’t one I’ve read before – how’d you like it?

    1. Ah!!! That’s right. Thank you for the reminder :). I agree with your comment about “dated”. I think the language in the book is a little old school but I am loving all the stories and anecdotes he shares in this particular book about fear. I think I am 3 chapters away from finishing it. I’ve enjoyed it.
