Hello, Loves!
At the beginning of 2019, I made a commitment to myself to read at least one book per month. I am proud to share the personal “challenge” is going strong although there have been some hiccups along the way.
For instance, I started February with a book that I thought sounded good but when I got to reading I didn’t really love it and so, I stopped.
And that trend continued with about 2-3 more books until I finally found a couple that I am truly enjoying and are the books I plan to read from beginning to end this month.
The reason why I’ve decided to read two books simultaneously this month is that they are fairly short reads. However, if anything happens, my goal will be to finish at least one of them.
And here is what I am reading:
Finish: Give Yourself The Gift of Done
By: Jon Acuff
Notice something “strange?” Well, Yes, this is the Spanish version of the book . I am fully bilingual and since most of my life interactions are in English, I make it a point to read Spanish material as often as possible.
And book #2 is:
Wisdom from Women in The Bible
By: John C. Maxwell
Jon Maxwell is one of my absolute favorite motivational speakers and leadership-focused authors of all time. While listening to one of his speeches on YouTube recently, I discovered he has this book and so, I decided to find it and I am currently reading it. So far so good. This particular copy is from the Library and “large print” is the only one they had available :-).
And that’s all for now! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.
What are you reading in February? Share in the comments!
With gratitude,
Mabel ❤$
